Where you can read the relatively rational ramblings of a silly half-monkey, half-boy. This freak of nature is named Joel. He also responds to the name 'Bart Wang'.

Happy 2-4!

Good day, welcome to my blog, eh? Growing up, Bob & Doug were two of my heroes. They're, like, geniuses or something. Anyways, they celebrated the twenty-fourth anniversary of Strange Brew on the Victoria Day long weekend and I got to watch it on TV, eh? Now you get to watch some of the highlights. My favourite part is at the two minute mark when they engage in a debate. It's genius, eh? Bill, make sure you tell Wible to check this out. I've e-mailed that hoser but he's never responded.

Then check out these hoseheads engage in a drinking game around the movie. I think the premise is that they have to take a drink of beer every time Bob or Doug say 'eh'. They run out of beer quickly.

Finally, Bob & Doug review their own movie back in 1983. It's clever. Take off, eh!

I usually wouldn't find this sort of thing to be funny...

... but it is Will Ferrell. And it's so over-the-top that it makes me laugh. Did you hear about this? Caused a big uproar, apparently, in some circles due to its use of foul language. Dig it. Thanks to Phil for the link.

The Landlord

And here's another one from Willy...

I purchased DVDFab today and hope it will facilitate me in my quest to copy Freaks & Geeks for my friends to observe. I have the special yearbook edition and don't want to lend it out (it was freaking expensive and, frankly, I don't like you or trust you enough to let you borrow it). It was the best show ever and you need to watch it.

Music and blogging = Too much time!

Two sites to note... First, a new writing collective has formed from the ashes of Winterbeard. We've shaved and are ready for summer by telling you what we think. I've been thrown into this, in spite of my ignorance and immaturity. It's called Crooked Letters and I feel privileged to be in such good company. Maybe I'll turn something in worth publishing. Check it.

Secondly, The Ted Kennedys are finally rocking for you. Bringing you old school punk rock with a modern edge and political shenanigans, they'll get you circling the pit. You can download their first EP for free on their Virb site. Don't sleep. That's where I'm going now. In the words of Ralph Wiggum, "Oh goody, sleep! That's where I'm a Viking!"

At long last, I give you D.J. Perrin

Sorry there's not more DJ to observe. He is a fine male specimen. Moreso than my ugly ass. Cal's not bad but I won't even reference Mike. But Melanie and Jenn are prettier than all of us so focus on them and enjoy the tune. I'd love to get DJ to record this professionally in a studio. He's the man!
